Hi.

My name's Emorly.

I really don't know what to say here, except for the fact that I am an avid Hogan's Heroes fan, I enjoy dancing and my favorite character is Shocked (okay, bad choice.  I don't have a favorite...Confused)  Anyway, hello to everyone out there!

Emorly

Emorly, welcome!!! We are all fans and lovers of Hogan's Heroes and we span the globe.  We even have a German fan who helps us with the language and we have Newkirk lovers here as well as male posters who give us so much detail and insight into the show.

Now, who is your favorite character?  I didn't catch it.  They are all great! I love Newkirk and Carter and Kinch, and Burkhalter makes the show as the ultimate baddie.

You love to dance?  What kind of dancing?

As the day goes by, I am sure everyone will stop by and welcome you.  We have a GREAT bunch of people here! You are hereby invited to post as much as you want and to reply to any posts! There are no limits here except for courtesy and respect.  That's it!

Again, welcome!

I actually didn't put a favorite character.  I like everyone equally, but I guess I am most partial to Kinch and Baker.  We are alike in many of our mannerisms.

I do ballet and tap, and have been for 13 years (in June 2010).  I'm also on pointe (the toe shoes worn by ballerinas), since January.

Thanks so much for the warm welcome!

Say, Emorly, would you like an avatar?  If it's anything I can fix, I'll be honored to make one for you!

Wow! Ballet! You must be talented!  So tell us, where are you from?  Kinch and Baker were great, but I have to say I preferred Kinch as his character was more fleshed out. I don't know why he left.  Baker was good but I guess one season wasn't enough to do anything major with him.

Wait until everyone gets here!  You'll see I'm not the only one who will give you a warm welcome:)

Emorly, welcome!!!!

If Shultz has not seen you and you have not had your interview with Klink yet, I think we can hide you, quick get down into the tunnels!!!!  If I can cook any thing special for you just mention what you want to Col Hogan and I am sure he will OK it.  After all we have to keep cooking tasty stuff to bribe Schultz with, and if we do not buy stuff from the farmers they will stop coming to the camp and we will get to talk to Tiger less often.  You are lucky that she was here visiting the Col when you arrived (GRIN).

What are your specialties?  London has sent us a whole list of missions and targets to destroy and the Col and Tiger need to know what you are capable of doing!!   I am not sure but I think I saw that we had to infiltrate a dance studio in Hamelburg and Louis is getting real tired of trying to teach Hochsteader how to dance!!

Again welcome Emorly and we will see ya at the formation in front of Barracks 2.

We need all the help we can get here among us unsung heroes!

Michel

Welcome Emorly,

Glad you're here.  So no favorite character?  That's okay, they're all great but my all time favorite is Newkirk.  I watch Family Feud on the Game Show Network just to drool over Richard Dawson.  Rolling Eyes

Anyways I hope you like it here at Stalag 13. Everyone here is awesome.

A very warm "welcome!" from me, too :)

You're dancing on pointe?! You got my full admiration!!! I used to do ballett when I was younger but eventually had to stop due to lack of time.

I'm quite new here myself and belong to the bunch of Newkirk lovers, even though I'm quite fond of the other heroes (especially Carter) and Schultzie, too.

Oh and please don't mention me to the Kommandant, he'd better not know about Germans hiding in the tunnels of his escape proof camp ;)

Hope you'll enjoy it here, people are simply great :)))

Welcome Emorly!  Remember, Name, Rank and Serial Number.

And don't forget to stop by the delousing station.

So what happens if I don't have a serial number?  Would my school ID number work?  Smile

and as for teaching partner dancing, I FAIL.  No lie.  I step on people's feet. (I may be graceful onstage, but off, forget it.  They don't call me Grace for nothing...)

As for the avatar, I'm working on drawing one of my own characters for this show.  (Yes.  I am a failure.  I know.  Do not hurt me.) But, thanks for the offer. I'll keep it in mind.

Unfortunately, I think Shultz saw me arrive. (I kinda plopped in the middle of the compound.) But, I don't think Klink knows I'm here...so maybe it will work out.

I can be a very convincing actress, and am pretty good at getting things done.  I can sew (painfully slow and unevenly, but I can do it.)  I have absolutely no artistic talents however... Sad But I can adapt relatively well.  (As long as I have music and room to dance.)  I play the piano.  I can kinda sing.  I...sheesh.  Enough about me.  I'm being conceited.

Favorite food: chocolate chip cookie soup!  (Cookies dissolved in milk.  Don't diss it.  I like it, but I know milk is hard to come by.)  I like the smell of coffee, but cannot stand the flavor.

Thanks again for the warm welcome!

I don't know if Michel will make you this soup (you know how sensitive the French chefs are) but maybe he will IF you dare eat his Vichysoisse. Of course, it really misses the eel.

I know! I have to run it by Col. Hogan but you, Emorly sound like a great lover of the arts. You'll make a great distractor.  You can engage our beloved Commandant with his violin.  Of course Newkirk will find you some cotton for your ears.

What do you think, Michel?  Sticky? Karl?
